Shipping/Service Times:

What are your production lab hours?

The lab produces daily through the week from 10am to 5:30pm. We do not offer production services on Saturdays with the exception of passports.

At The Print Refinery Vernon Hills, our goal is to efficiently complete every order with the care and quality your images deserve. Our service times are based on the average production time required to meet that goal.
For online orders, you will be notified by text and/or email when the order is complete and ready for pick up, or has been shipped.
Service times are based on business days and do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays. These times are considered guidelines and actual production times may vary based on the time of day the order was placed and the quantity ordered. Busy seasonal times may also cause a variance in production times.

Do you offer a rush service?

On some products, yes. Expedited service may be possible to meet special requests. Please contact us at (224)206-7278 prior to order submission to verify whether or not the product or service is eligible for rush service.

We are happy to provide shipping services to our customers - and we ship nationwide! Pre-payment is required on all shipped orders. All items purchased and shipped by our online ordering system will include shipping charges at checkout.
While unfortunate, sometimes a package is lost or damaged in transit. While we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are received by our carrier(s), if you encounter a lost or damaged package, please call us at (224) 206-7278 and we will see where we are able to assist.

The charges for shipping vary based on weight, dimension and distance travelled. Figuring out how much it might cost to ship a package can be frustrating, so we have provided the table below to give you a general guide. Please note, this table is to be used ONLY as a guide, as we will determine final shipping cost once your package is ready to ship.

At The Print Refinery Vernon Hills, we are committed to providing quality products to meet or exceed your expectations. However, if you find our goods or services are faulty, please let us know. We will work with you to address your concerns, where we are able.
Please note the following:
While we make every effort to avoid mistakes, they do occasionally happen. For situations out of our control, such as delays in shipping or an item being out of stock with our distributors, a replacement item or store credit may be offered in lieu of a refund.
Passport photos can be and sometimes are rejected by their respective government agencies. We make every effort to comply with passport photo requirements, which is why we require documentation with photo and digital file requirements for all international photographs prior to having your photo taken by us. Should your passport fail, we reserve the right to replace them given you provide us with written documentation as to why the photos failed and updated information if the parameters of the photo differ from what was provided to us. Store credit may be considered, but no refunds will be processed without proper documentation.
Color matching is subjective and therefore not a guaranteed service. Differences in color between an original print or digitial file and the completed print or product are not considered to be a defect. Please talk with one of our consultants for a resolution to any issues that may arise regarding color matching.
